This is an incredible remote for $30. It is totally programmable, and without much work ran my 12 year old Sony receiver and my brand new Panasonic DVD player, and everything else in between. I have put all of my other remotes away for good. The downside is that the instruction manual doesn't list half the things that this remote can do, but there's a large user community, and several websites that go into great detail about how to program the thing. Apparently, I have to write 100 words, and I still need a few more words to get there.
