One major problem with Radio Shack remote headphones, no matter what the model is, is that it's impossible to purchase replacement foam ear muffs when they start to fall apart after 2 years of use. Talk about planned obsolescence! They expect you to throw away your $60 to $100 because without foam ear muffs, they're unconfortable to wear. Word to the wise: Don't buy the remote unless you can buy a set of replacement ear muffs when you buy the unit. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the operation or use. I have three different remote headsets in use in my house.
