I have to admit that I probably wouldn't pay this sort of money for a flat panel, but I got a "dealer demo" when they first came out, so don't think of my rating as on that's based on "value" of the monitor.
I've been using this monitor for about a year I guess. We have limited space on our computer desk at home, and this monitor gave us room to actually have some desktop workspace in front of the monitor. The image quality is excellent at our 1024X768 resolution. Remember that you get the full viewing area on a flat panel monitor, so there's more room here than a 17" CRT.
The on-screen controls are not fantastic, but I never need them. The auto-adjust works perfectly!
I liked this monitor so well that I now have one for work and one for home. If you can afford it, go for it.
We don't use the TV tuner (we don't watch much TV... just occasionally PAX and PBS, the only two stations we get on rabbit ears! Who needs cable!), so I can't report on the tuner or PIP features.
