Stick with T-Mobile - Cingular has no customer service!

Ease of Ordering:
Stick with T-Mobile! Signed up for service and purchased two phones on-line. Phones arrived and called activations to activate phones and start porting process on Thursday night. Both phones ported through essentially immediately and Cingular agent called both phones, however Palm Treo had no voice (he could not hear me when I was talking, though I could hear him). He attributed it to the porting process and said try in the morning.
Tried on Friday morning and still no voice on phone. Called Cingular and after being transfered around three times, got to on-line returns. Explained that I used phone for business and I was without the ability for business contacts to reach me and I needed a phone sent FedEx Overnight for Saturday delivery. She informed me that the returns department was "very busy" and that she would have to take my name and number and have them call me back. I told her that option was not acceptable and that I needed a resolution immediately so that I was assured that I would have a phone by Saturday so that I was ready for work on Monday. After putting me on hold, she "got approval" to return the defective phone and send me a replacement phone. However, I would need to give her my charge card, which I didn't have a problem with.
She then informed me that I would have to pay the $14.00 overnight shipping and that they could not select to have Saturday Fed-Ex delivery because "Fed-Ex does not deliver on the weekends." I informed her that I was personally aware that Fed-Ex has Saturday delivery. She said it was not an option. I was also told that she could not guarantee that the replacement phone would even leave today. So I asked her if this was typical of Cingular's customer service. It is clearly their mistake and she can do nothing about it and I have to pay for the overnight shipping. She then informed me that was their policy. I informed her it was not my policy to do business with companies that have no customer service skills.
Called T-Mobile back and re-ported numbers back. Customer service was great and no problems. Life is too short to deal with such idiots!!!
