On January 8th I ordered the Canon SD400, my credit card was immediatly charge...the website stated the product was "in stock." Approximately one week later I called the support department to see the status of my order (since online it only said "TBS".) The rep stated "The product was just recieved in the warehouse, I'm sorry for the delay I will update your shipping to 2-5 day express, it will be sent out today."
My Online order status now said "Where house. Your product will be shipped from one of our Whs. facilities soon." ..and yes Warehouse was spelt "Where house" --which is very ironic I might add.
After 3 days...with no update to my online order status, I again called the support department (this was on Thurs January 19th.) The rep said "Your order is being "picked" it will ship shortly" After talking to the rep more she stated they do not have the camera, and have no idea when the camera will be in stock, but for an extra $20 I would be upgraded to the Canon SD450 with overnight shipping, which will --and I qoute "ship immediatly, and will arrive Tuesday or Wednesday of next week." Since the website stated that the SD450 is IN STOCK, I decided, fine...I will actually recieve a camera (sometime in this century.)
Today is that Tuesday (Jan 24th) the status still contained no tracking number, and still said "Where house. Your product will be shipped from one of our Whs. facilities soon." I once again called support, they stated "the camera is not in stock." At this exact second (while on the phone I checked the status of this item on the website...it said IN STOCK) --so someone on the phone looking at the warehouse inventory said it was not in stock, while the website clearly says it is in stock. I immediatly cancelled my order...(we'll see how this step goes.)
So...to recap things, two weeks later (and interest charged to my credit card, 2+ hours spent on the phone) I have no camera, Butterfly photo has no camera...I've decided to go to Walmart so I will actually have (in my possession) a camera.
