Being an x Two Small Men franchaise owner I can assure you that it was not a mistake.They probably double billed you on purpose because they needed the money for automatic withdrawls or some type of bill that was coming out of there account..Its easier for them to just take your money,,say it was an error and deal with it later.At least they dont get an NSF.
Check out the comment I sent to mulebreath.
Sorry that you had to experience that double billing.
No one will ever stop them.They will go on for years operating like that.

Hey,I agree with you 100%.Especially about John Willoughby aka "jonnyfast"
My name is Brent Witte.I was employed by Jeff Green at the Ontario Head Office for approx 12 years.Jonnyfast,,haha he does write his own reviews to try and repair the damage he has caused.He no longer lives in Ontario because there is a warrant out for his arrest.I have listened to hundreds of people cry about this little man.He doesn't care,,he thinks it's funny.He smokes crack cocaine and drinks like a fish.Of course he smokes pot like a wild man and snorts so much cocaine that he now has the sniffles for the rest of his life.I should know,,Ive seen him do it a thousand times.Once you pay that man a deposit,,you're history.He gets paid 8% of linehaul.Of course he has no problem doing and saying what he has too in order to get your deposit.Hed starve to death if he was honest.
As far as I am concerned,,there are only 2 major shareholders in the Company that do care.Thats Mickey and Rosario.Jeff Green is the greediest man alive.That man should be in jail.Him and his hair lipped sister have destroyed hundreds of customers lives.And they laugh about it.
I left his employment in January 2007.I could not take it anymore.That man had me do some pretty low and underhanded things during my employment with him.Swapping scale tickets,adding pianos to boost the weights up and fuelling trucks to go weigh again.
Its true,,I was charged a couple of times.All charges against me were dropped because it was not me.I was an employee doing what I was told
I did buy the Mississauga Location at the end of 2006 from Mickey.I just couldn't get away from Jeff Green.He would have people call me to help settle their disputes.It was quite aggravating.He also made me sign a paper stating that I could not discuss the operations of Two Small Men and the secrets of the operation..He's a control freak.Once I had my own operation,I came to realise that what he had me doing all those years was dishonest and underhanded.I became quite ashamed of myself.
Most of his employees do/did have shady back grounds.He'd have me hire criminals who just got out of jail because they would work cheap for cash and could stay on Welfare.Alot of employees came from Keele Center.Thats a halfway house for people being released from the penitentiary.Two Small Mens number was in several halfway houses and homeless shelters.Jeff Green has zero knowledge of the moving industry. All he has ever cared about is money.In 2008 when he moved out of 100 Rivalda Rd. there was a 48' trailer in the back that was full of peoples belongings. Rather than send it to the owners,,he had three 5 ton trucks load up and take it to the dump.He said its cheaper than sending it all over the country.That it would be cheaper to dispose of it,rather than pay someone to locate the owners and send it to them.He doesn't settle claims. He stated several times that most people will give up and go away.That if they are storied and stalled long enough,,they go away.Unfortunately that part is true.50 claims on his desk to pay,,45 of them will just go away.Seen it happen ALOT!
I ended up selling last year.I just couldn't take the grief anymore.No one from the media has ever tried to contact me.I would have and still will speak to "whoever" At one point over a customer named Douglas who moved to B.C.,I was threatened with violence if I ever spoke to the Consumer &Corporate Affairs,her lawyer or the police.Jeff Green had me load 2 smaller shipments on the trailer first,then hers and then have it weighed.That lady got screwed big time.Thats when I left his employment.I still have e-mails about her shipment.I actually have a whole crap load of information on this guy.Its hard to say if I would have come forward at that time.I never did take his threats lightly.Mess with his money and you could lose your life.
I waited this length of time to come forward so that it would not seem like a grudge or something.Unless something has changed in the past 3 months,,the shareholders and other Franchaise owners are or have filed a Class Action suit against him.They also contacted me to get the records I have.They've yet to come and get them,,but I have them ready.
Two Small Men would probably be a great Company again.That will never happen as long as Jeff Green is calling the shots.The Company went downhill when Green bought the majority of shares.That rotten apple has to go.Only then will good things come.Right now him and his hair lipped sister are hiding out on Manitoulin Island.They bought a resort there with the money they scammed from all of you people.I'm surprised that the government has never gone after him.He never claimed 1 dime of cash that he made over the years.Alot of cash comes in with moving.He even had me get him a safety deposit box in Orillia to hide some of it in.That can be easily proven.He is the only one who has signed in and out of it.I know its still there because I got a bill in the mail yesterday for it.It also had a crap load of jewelry in it.He was famous for going through peoples dressers in the warehouse and taking their jewelry.I feel for you mulebreath.
So you know,,jonnyfast is gay and we caught him late at night in the office wearing womens under wear,a bra and pantyhose.hahaha.He was going through a dresser when we walked into the storage area.Crack pipe on the table and porno on the t.v.

I, and my friends - a couple - moved in August using this company. We moved a week apart into a house that we share in Toronto. Apart from various horrors like turning up late, inexperienced staff, damaging a piano, not being able to fit a third of my friends' goods on the truck, I found out a week ago that the company double-billed all of us for the balance of each of our moving bills. I went to the company's office last week and confronted the accounting person, Julie Blake. After an hour and a half on the phone with MasterCard, TD Bank and MasterCard again I got my money back plus saw what their scam is.
It boils down to a loophole that they are taking advantage of. The moving company has something called a TD Freedom 4 terminal which they use to post all their credit card sales to their TD bank.
The day after my move, they put through the balance owing on my move through their Freedom 4 terminal to TD and ultimately to MasterCard. This is all clearly recorded on their credit card sales printouts for each day. However, the day of the move, one of the men who moved me had me sign a credit card slip for the balance, he then phoned in for an authorisation number. That should have been that and then the credit card slip should be posted the next day as they did. But, I found out that there are two different telephone numbers that can be used to get an authorisation number.
If you have the Freedom 4 terminal you are supposed to use one number that gives you authorisation only. If you use the other number, it will give you authorisation PLUS it puts the request through as a billing. The movers were using the "wrong" number so that a billing would go through in a way that doesn't show up on the regular posting records for the next day. Thus, the company can say - which they did - look, there is no record of a second billing...you have to go back to the credit card company and sort it out. Then they have that 35 to 60 days to hang onto your money until things get "sorted" in a credit card company dispute process. Or, some people might not check their account closely and never see the double billing.
My friends got their money back this week. I think that this was only because of our connection as friends and Julie's fear that I realized what they are up to. She is probably hoping that we're off her back!
I did report all of this to MasterCard security.
