Our home uses air fresheners of some sort especially during the colder months 24/7. We will have some type of air freshener plugged into the wall and burn scented candles or incense. There is nothing like the smell of a wood-burning fireplace along with some type of scent in the air from a candle, incense, or plugged-in oil air freshener. Then add in some good smelling home cooking smells from the kitchen and you will have the best of country living!
The Product
Febreze NOTICEables is a new product that is about to hit the market. This is a plug-in hot oil air freshener that uses aromatic oils and slowly releases the aroma in the room the unit is plugged into.
This is similar to Glade's Plug-It-In, except Febreze NOTICEables plug-in unit contains two connected bottles of complementary scented related oils. The base unit automatically alternates between the two scents with a green light indicating which scent it is currently featuring.
The base unit is made out of hard plastic and is white. On the back is a sliding switch that offers the choice of low or high intensity of fragrance to be released. The twin connected see-through bottles are easy to insert by simply taking off their lid and sliding them up the hole until they click. With the bottles being see-through you do not need to unplug the unit to see when it is running low on oil.
Each bottle of fragrance contains about 5 teaspoons and is designed to last for at least 30 days.
The unit measures 3 5/16 inches in height x 2 3/4 inches in width x 2 3/4 inches in depth.

My Experience
The scented oils I am using are the Tropical Calypso Breeze/Hawaiian Paradise. I first plugged the unit in my great room sliding it to the high intensity ensuring I used the top plug so it leaves the bottom plug free for other items. The great room is approximately 800 square feet that contains the living room, dining room, and the kitchen overlooking. The unit switches back and forth between these the two fragrances approximately every 45 minutes. The unit was operating for approximately 4 hours before my daughter came home for the weekend. Normally if she noticed a new aroma, she would say something; however she did not so this means I am going to need 2-3 of these units to cover a room of this size.
I then moved it to the master bathroom. The high intensity was way too strong but the low intensity was awesome. I then tried it in our bedroom where it still resides since it is such a delight to smell as you go to sleep and wake up. This especially holds true when your wet pets enter your room.
I really like the soft green light that alternates between the left and right side on the top of the unit and that feature is spoiling me. I love having dual scents and the unit automatically alternating fragrances.
I have found the scents to be fresh smelling and certainly not overbearing unless you have it on high intensity in a small room. You have to use common sense as to what intensity to use in proportion to your room size. If the room is on the smaller size and more enclosed, try the low intensity first. However, if the room runs into another room, you will probably find that the low intensity is not strong enough.
I have used my Febreze NOTICEables for about a week now and the oil is still almost full so it will definitely last at least 30 days if not more.
Febreze NOTICEables has definitely earned a place in my home. I love the aromas and love the change in aromas along with the glowing green light. I will be buying more for my other rooms. Looks like its time to retire my other plug-in brand as this one far surpasses it in the aroma and odor riddance factors.
Cautions
These are only to be used with Febreze NOTICEables dual scented oil refills. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Use only in properly functioning 120-volt electrical outlet. For indoor use only. Do not use with extension cords, do not immerse in water, or use in damp or wet areas. Do not use in small, confined pet areas without adequate ventilation. This plug-in air freshener must be placed right side up so that the oil container is located at the bottom of the unit. If placed upside-down or on its side, the unit might leak oil. Fragrance oils may collect on warmer over time. To clean, remove warmer from outlet and wipe with clean, dry cloth.
I wish to thank Hass MS&L for sending this product for me to evaluate in exchange for my unbiased honest opinion. I also really love the magnifying glass that searches for freshness and use it often to read fine print. The sniffing eyeglasses were an added laugh.
