Dish is a rip off!

Pros: Ha what a joke!
Cons: You have to pay for repairs and removal of all their equipment.
The Bottom Line: I DO NOT recommend Dish Network at all. Their hidden costs are awful.

After all we went through with Dish, I will never recommend it to anyone.
We had cable for 15 years. They started raising their prices and giving us the run around. So I canceled them and went with Dish Network. What a huge mistake! The first day we had it I realized I had screwed up. I hated Dish from the first days use. We had 4 tv's hooked up to this. My bedroom tv was hooked up through the one in our living room. The remote would not change the channels in the bedroom because it had to hit the little antennae just right. After having this for a year (only because the rest of my family liked it) something went wrong with a switch, only one tv could be watched at a time between my bedroom and the living room. When I called tech support they ran a couple of tests through my working tv, this is when they told me someone would have to come out and fix the switch. They were going to charge me $50.00 to come our and fix their own equipment. I feel this is VERY wrong and just another rip off of theirs. Since I had no contract, I was free to do as I wanted. It told them there was no way I was paying someone to come and fix something that was already theirs to begin with. So I called and got my cable back and I am very happy with it. :) When I call Dish to have everything removed, it was then that they informed me that they would send boxes to my house and it was up to me to remove the boxes and remotes. AND I had to removed things from the dish and pack them up for shipment. The dish and pole were mine to keep. Like I wanted that! They came to my home, set all this up and will not come and take it all down and remove everything, that is the customers problem. What a joke! I informed them that cable is nothing like this. They take care of everything. Everything! Dish Network is a racket and the more I hear from people the more I know that they won't be in business for long by doing these kind of things.
