| ewwife's Full Review: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser |
Mr. Clean has done some magic again. I must be one of the ones that didnt get the word about these magical things until they were a hot item. But none the less I have tried them and they worked on several things that my best friends daughter decided to color all over in my house.
What is this?
Its a small box about 3 inches x 5 inches square with the cleaning supplies and has Mr. Clean himself with his masculine arms crossed on the box. The box is white and has blue and red writing.
They come in a 2 pack box and have two white blocks (eraser style) that are very light weight. When I picked up the box I actually thought that someone had stolen them out of the box. They resemble the look of Styrofoam. They were about $1.29 for the package.
What do they do?
Well, as Mr. Clean says they are Magic Erasers. They erase marks that you have been trying to clean and have just given up on. You can use them for crayons, black scuff marks, or anything that you cant get off with regular cleaners.
How does it work and how do you use it?
Its very simple. You just dampen the white sponge square and begin to rub over your stain. If you get it too wet you can wring it out and then begin to use where needed.
After a certain amount of time the eraser becomes nasty and you cant use it anymore. You will have to throw it away and get a new one. When it starts to crumble and fall apart then you know its time for the trash.
How I used this product.
I had a lot of crayon marks on the wall and door from my best friends daughter. I purchased these before I decided to break out the paint. Boy I am glad that I did because they worked like a charm. All I did was read the packaging on how to use and then put the magic to work. It didnt take a lot of work to get the surface to come clean.
I did use it very lightly on the painted walls because I was scared that it would begin to take the paint off. I did notice a bit of paint color on the eraser but it wasnt noticeable on the wall. When the wall was damp it looked as if it might stain it but once it dried you couldnt see anything from the crayon or how I removed it.
What a wonderful product Mr. Clean!!
