IMPORTANT UPDATE: PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED "COMMENT" SECTION OF THIS LETTER (at the bottom) for a REPLY from INTELLIFLIX and MY REBUTTAL **********************
INTELLIFLIX is an absolutely TERRIBLE service - extremely slow, poor inventory, top qeued selections are never shipped, and no tools to show title availabilities or waiting times! I was a member from December 1, 2005 until I decided that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and finally (gladly) canceled my membership on February 6, 2006 (though I should have done so earlier)! INTELLIFLIX offered several exceptional new (remastered or special edition) versions of films that neither Blockbuster nor Netflix had in their libraries. Upon browsing rental titles I had decided to give them a shot and grab those several unavailable elsewhere DVDs that the other services were missing. After joining, I created a qeue of about 20 films, placing my favorite 10 titles (again, that the others did not offer) at the very top of my qeue in order of importance. Note that at the end of my membership (over 2 months later), 8 of those 10 first selected titles were still there and never available or shipped. Finally, I began whittling down my title qeue list to contain only those remaining 8 titles and INTELLIFLIX kept sending me messages that my qeue was LOW and that in order to receive the (quoted by exact title) next top film, that I needed to add at least so many more titles to my qeue. I followed their prompt and -- they still never sent my top picks, only the newly added FILLER titles from the bottom of my qeue list!! This was a scam to keep me hanging in there and paying off, but in the second month I had had quite enough (even after many email complaints) and canceled. Their replies were always that these titles were titles in HIGH DEMAND .... well, I could list them for you here, but absolutely in NO WAY were the titles that I had selected (with the exception of 2 or 3) were anywhere near HIGH DEMAND films!!! Such a scam -- and I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. With NETFLIX and BLOCKBUSTER the turnarounds were extremely fast and any emails were dealt with in quality, timely expertise (kudos to both companies!). Again in a 2-month period (each service set at a 5-rental option), I was turning around at least 10-12 movies a week from the two BETTER services, while with INTELLIFLIX ... I had only received 15 movies within the same 2-month period! Absolutely stay away from INTELLIFLIX - nothing to lose but your TIME and MONEY!!!
