I just joined Qool.com a couple of months ago. The premise of this program is that you bid on merchandise on their site with Qoolcoins. You get 10 qoolcoins for each bid you place, as well as coins for clicking on links that the friendly owner, Steve, sends you in his chatty e-mail each day. Since I love eBay, I figured that this was a no brainer - the fun of bidding and winning without actually paying for anything!
The actual bidding is easy to do - just enter your proxy bid and your password, and you are done. You can go to your member page and check to see which auctions you are winning. It would be helpful if the member page was set up more like eBay's, with the auctions staying on there even after you were outbid; if there is something you are seriously bidding on it is very difficult to find it again, since it disappears from your page once you are outbid, and there is no search for particular items to bid on, just general categories such as Homes, Books, Magazines, etc. But we can't have everything, now can we?
I have read many Epinions here saying that people didn't get the merchandise that they won in their auction. I guess I can't comment on that - I finally won an auction for a magazine last week, and the email told me to expect it in 6 - 8 weeks. I guess I will just have to wait and see if it shows up.
