Being young and dumb makes me gullible. I to was sucked in by the hype. My Alienware system is awesome but not because of anything that Alienware did. Hindsight would tell me that I could have gotten the same system for much cheaper.
I had to wait at least a month for my system to arrive. This is unacceptable.
The so-called custom documentation is a single page of diagnostics from a benchmark test with a list of the equipment in your system. I do not know what I was expecting but one page along with a couple of other pages on warranty info did not satisfy me by far.
Contacting customer service is a two or three day ordeal of playing email tag and waiting. I understand from other reviews that returning anything is cumbersome and likely to cost you more than its worth to send it.
Thankfully I haven’t had to return anything, as all of my equipment seems to be solid. I haven’t had any problems with my system so I cant say the system is junk because it is not. I got what I paid for in a computer but the lies and hype that I paid for are blown way out of proportion.
Simply don’t get suckered in by the hype and pay the high price like many others and me did. Get a system somewhere else with the same components.
