You get what you pay for.......

The Bottom Line: Not worth the money. I would spend the extra money and get a better computer

The emachines eslate is an excellent example of you get what you pay for. This is a cheap in price and a cheap in quality laptop computer.

First of all, I would recommend this laptop for anyone who does not do the following:
Play games
Use the internet
Use complex programs
Use it for anything else other than typing simple papers on Microsoft Word or a similar program.

The emachines is not that hard to use. Anyway, its just as hard as your normal desktop. The thing that is annoying and can interfere with normal operation is that error messages pop up all over. Trust me, that factor of this computer is really annoying.

The eslate never really breaks. Ive had it ruin a few disks, jam up a few times, and that is about it. It is your basic quality for a note book.

Like I said before, the eslate cannot really use complicated programs, the speed is just to slow. Connecting to the internet on the eslate is like trying to run with 10-pound balls on your legs, it just is too slow. I'm not sure if it is the computer or the internet on this problem though.

The weight of the eslate is comparable to any laptop. It weighs about 8-10 pounds.

Overall, the eslate is a cheap computer that cannot really do much other than simple documents.
