WHY THE CLOROX BLEACH PEN?

I had bought this product a while ago. A few weeks ago, I
also bought the Clorox Toilet Wand ( haven't seen that posted here for reviews yet ) and the Clorox Bleach Pen also came with it as a bonus.

I believe that it was sometime last summer that I bought this item though, but I didn't really start using it until I began hands-on training in a Culinary Arts program. Myself and other students were each given a uniform to wear while training in the high school kitchen. The top part ( coat ) of the uniform is white with black trim for the collar and sleeve ends. Also, for those who wanted to buy a white cloth chef's hat, they did, and so did I.

A couple of weeks ago, we were being shown by the chef on how to dip the strawberries into white chocolate and then dark chocolate as one of our lessons in the program. It was some of the dark chocolate that had accidentally splashed on the shirt of my uniform. But it wasn't until the next day that I was able to try to do something about it.

We must wash our uniforms ourselves. The school kitchen does have a washer & dryer, but the machines are used for the kitchen towels and aprons only. The responsibility is on us to keep our uniforms clean for each cooking class.

WHAT THEN?

The day that I DID wash the uniform, I ran it through the Soak Cycle first, in hopes of being able to remove the stain. After using the Soak Cycle, the heavy, or normal wash must be used to further remove any embedded soil.

The chocolate itself was removed, but the slightly brown stain from it still was there on the white part of the shirt in a few spots, so that's when I decided to try using the Clorox Bleach Pen. After the wash cycle was completed, the brown stains were completely gone! I was truly amazed!! And since the uniform has two colors, no regular bleach can be used to clean it.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You can actually use both ends of this item, depending on what you'd use or need it for. The small fine tip end lets you get into smaller tight spots like cleaning tile, grout,
caulking and areas around sinks and tubs.

The larger broad scrubber end not only lets you apply bleach where it's needed, but it also lets you apply scrubbing action to deep-clean stubborn little spots on white garments in your laundry and get the bleach solution right into the fabric. Much like the chocolate stain that I've encountered.

USES AND FEATURES:

Laundry:

Cleans stains from white garments such as blood, grass stains, chocolate, red whine, berry juice, grape juice, mold and mildew stains.

Household Surfaces:

Cleans stubborn mold and mildew from tile grout, caulking,
and areas around bathtubs and sinks. Also, it can be used to clean mold and mildew from the flexible folds in refrigerator door gaskets.

Has more of a concentrated powerful formula that literally list out stubborn stains from white garments! Whitens tile grout to restore it back to the day when the grout was first installed!

HOW TO USE?

Simply follow the directions on the back of the package for the application it is needed for. For best results, follow the instructions to the letter. Shake pen before use.

MY EXPERIENCE SO FAR:

So far, I found this product to be quite valuable and useful around the house. Most of all, it really gets helps get stubborn stains of of white garments prior to washing!

Overall, I'd say that this product is a godsend! It really works its magic on tough stains in white garments.

PRECAUTIONS:

1. If you use product on any white garment, you must wash that item IMMEDIATELY.

2. Do not wear pretreated garment without washing it first.

3. Do not use on colored clothes. If you must, then first test product on hidden area to see the end results.

4. Keep product out of the reach of children.

5. Avoid contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs, flush with water for 15 minutes.

6. Avoid skin contact. May cause irritation. For sensitive skin or prolonged use, wear rubber or latex gloves.

7. If swallowed, drink a glass of water. Do not induce vomiting. Contact a physician or poison control center immediately.

8. Do not freeze product.

9. Do not mix with other household cleaning products, as hazardous gases may result.

10. Contains sufactants and hypoclorite bleach.

11. Discard empty bleach pen in trash.
