Your Dog deserves a clean bowl!

The Bottom Line Your dog isn't just something to keep you entertained. Your dog is a member of your family! Do you make your husband eat out of dirty dishes?

Do you eat on dirty plates? If you were thirsty, do you just keep adding water to the same glass throughout the week?

Probably not.

Why should your dog have to?

-----------
Water Dish
-----------
Our Rottie drinks a lot, and needs two water dishes while we're gone for the day. Rinse out the water dishes before adding water. Why is this important to do daily? Because most dogs eat some food, then take a sip of water, then eat some more, and so forth. They don't use forks, and usually get the food around their mouths. The water gets full of food particles, and although your dog probably won't notice, it's sanitary. Rinse the dog's dish. You'll make me and your Sparky happy. (Dog's also like cold water. Do a test for yourself, use two bowls. Use one with regular tap water that has only run for a few seconds. Then, in the second bowl, have the water run for a minute, or from a purifier. Chances are good that he'll choose the cooler water.)

--------------
The Food Dish.
--------------

Although not as important (I feel) as keeping the water dish rinsed out daily, you should clean dish every couple of days as well. Think about it this way... Why don't you eat left overs after a few days? ... Most often because the food has gone bad, or you don't have enough nerve to find out. Especially if you mix the dog's crunchy food with canned dog food, or only give the dog canned food, the food *does* stick to the sides of the dish.

** Please! Keep in mind that your pet can NOT wash his or her own dishes! Your dog can NOT tell you when he's decided that the dish needs to be rinsed out. Unfortunately there aren't any dog tricks yet (I assume) for your dog to do when he's decided the leftovers need to be washed off.

Thank you for taking the time to read this review. Please let me know if I've helped you!
