Since I received my first computer, I have used Broderbund Printmaster Products. After many upgrades, I have found that Printmaster Platinum 10 is by far the best yet. It's graphics are always of the best quality, and the quantity is superb. I have never seen such selection standard on a creative publishing program. The fact that it is on ten discs is a small price to pay for such clipart.

Choosing a different format for your project is extremely simple, for all options are presented to you as you open the project. I'm sure you'll be impressed, as I was, with the amount of different things you can do with this program. Professional brochures, cards, calendars and posters are just to name a few. Once inside the program, you'll discover that the taskbar is very organized. Also, the help system is very comprehensive, and usually has the answer to your question.

The cropping tool given in the program is the best that I have never experienced. I have compared it to the tool standard on much more expensive programs such as Adobe and Corel, and I have found that this one is much more powerful and easier to use. My pictures are usually cropped perfectly, after the first try. This saves a great deal of time.

The one fallback of this program is that it doesn't give the option to save your project as a graphic file other than the POSTER file. If you wanted to save the file as a JPEG or a GIF, you would have to copy everything into another program such as Photofinish or Powerpoint and save it there. Although this isn't a huge inconvenience, it would be easier if you could do it within the program.

All in all, Printmaster Platinum is a fabulous program that is fun and easy to use. I would never consider switching, and hope that I have helped you to make up your mind on whether to purchase this program or not.
