Leave the Sink in the Kitchen, Not in the Review

The Bottom Line The ship's listing, captain. Please, folks, no more lists of ingredients, or features off the label or the user manual.
I know, I know, this isn't the only problem bugging Epinions today, but it's a sore spot to me
Make no mistake about it, I love Epinions, and even some of the worst offenders of this, my pet peeve about the current state of reviews. If you see yourself in this, don't hate me for pointing it out, just, please, be kind enough to give it a bit of thought, and maybe, just maybe, CHANGE.
For me, OK?
Or maybe for those thousands of others like me. Folks whose eyes glaze over when they see an otherwise great review marred by a list of ingredients, or by something like the list of all the items on the restaurant's menu, or all the songs on the album.
I'm talking about filler
And yes, I know, everybody does it. But come on, kids. Some of the best of us are taking the filler bit a little too far. Do I really want or need to know the percentage of monosodium glutimate in my mouthwash? At least, do I need to see that in a review? I'm coming to the review to see how you, Joe or Jane Ordinary, likes the mouthwash. I am not coming to see everything I could read on the label, even though it does take up more space, and give more "information".
Some "information" is just babble
Useless. That's how I view those lists. And I see too many of them. I don't want to hit the scroll down when I'm reading your review. I want to be informed, learn something new, be entertained, enlightened, but I don't want to be bored. Really.
I can get bored offline, if bored is what I want
And I can read the list of ingredients in the grocery store. Please, please, those of you who are including those deadly lists in your reviews, consider how boring you're making it. It isn't thorough, it isn't informative, it is just deadly deadly dull. Overkill. Surplusage. Filler.
Tell me something about the product that I can't learn from the label. Please.
