The Parquest Tool is standard however the adjustable floor brush would be ideal if you have a large number of hardwood floors.

The Miele Powerhead SEB226 has been upgraded to model SEB224 for the newer 2001 year models. This is also a standard belt driven powerhead that will need to have the belt replaced yearly due to slippage.

The SEB217, while smaller is a gear driven head and outlasts the belt driven system by 25/1 ratio. The SEB217 is very versatile is getting under furniture and into very tight spots.
