Those VCRs will eventually die, so we don't want all of our old memories to die with them. We've got home movie tapes made with those really old video camera's that used VCR tapes back in the early 1990s, so those are the ones that need updating the most.
My kids have TONS of movies still on VHS, so our DVD/VCR combo is still used quite a bit around here.

Yeah, it is really cool.
I've been watching him edit old videos and it's sure brought back alot of fond memories already!

my husband must have one of these. It is pretty cool--he really did a lot of editing and it's much better than the old tapes.

I have a TV with VCR and DVD/CD capability and love it. Hope I never have to get it fixed, heh. This machine you bought sounds good, but there's still many movies only on VHS and I don't get cable.

Actually the online version sounds better than the B&M store, servicewise, that is. :0}
I was only joking, really, but we did have trouble finding someone to help us in the store a while back. But once we found one, he was very good.
I'm so glad to know about this. I loved the 24/24 deal. I love Fed-Ex or UPS deliveries, too. Online shopping can get addictive. love it.

he gets caught up on transferring your old VHS movies onto CD's, do you think he could transfer ALL my I LOVE LUCY episodes onto CD's for me?
Matt has this, or something like it, but he's rather "slow" getting things done--he does have his job, goes to college and they're working on their house--however, even without all that on his plate, he's still sluggish! :)
