Pros:Rugged, but neat, good value for money
Cons:No Bluetooth..aargh!
The Bottom Line: Reliability and value for money. handles lifes bumps and scratches along with you.

The 5140i is not the phone with the most features crammed in, but, for it's price, this Nokia has a lot to offer. Sporting a color screen and quick response, it's a relaible phone. the 5140 Still suffers from the Low-memory issue, having only 4MB of shared space, but supports PC Suite via infra-red or cable, so you can download and upload all kinds of content. Good design and build quality make it stand out as *the* phone to go outdoors with. There are precious few phones today that handles a fall as well as this one, the sealed housing protects the unit from dust and the occasional water droplet. sporting a compass, thermometer and fitness coach, this is a take-with-anywhere device. Relatively good (VGA) pictures can be taken with the phone, and, as with all Nokia devices these days, load the PC Suite software and you have a nippy GPRS modem, perfect for those on the go with notebooks. Battery life is what you'd expect from Nokia, but what really impresses is the charging time, very fast! All in all the target market is the outdoors person, but this is one phone you can get for children and know that it will actually outlast it's warranty..
