.... a few months ago. I could not have put in better words the impressions that you described. I am no military historian, and yet I felt a few things must have been embellished, but you put it very nicely.
I would add a little sentence though to tell people to be sure to have enough time as we went in the afternoon and ended up almost running through the vehicules displayed with a guard on our tail after closing time! ;)

I really think your war and soldier stories are almost as interesting as your travel tales. We enjoy any essay you favor us with, and this one about the war museum sounds like a worthy place to visit.
