Gael, a wonderful editorial. A wonderfully patriotic commemorative for those we lost on September 11th! If the sentiments you shared with us are "naïve or idealistic", so be it. I'd rather have these type than any other I can imagine. These feelings are true symbols of what being an American really mean. Bless you and thank you for sharing them. First of all, I want to thank you for your beautiful thoughts about patriotism. I didn't think it corny in the least. Secondly, I had completely forgotten that I was in this w/o and shall remedy that as soon as possible. Third, thanks for adding me to your WOT. My wife and I were in France on Sept. 11 and I did something I haven't done in years (except at movies): I cried. The people in our tour were Aussies and New Zealanders for the most part with a sprinkle of Americans and they all understood. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and God Bless America!
