Pros: Inexpensive, usually works
Cons: Hinges break, power problems, lockups
The Bottom Line: I recommend avoiding all WinBook products. If you do get one, buy the extended warranty, and plan for some down time.

The case is under-designed, and not strong enough where the hinge attaches. The WinBook web site has lots of complaints about this. Unfortunately, ours lasted over a year, so it is no longer in warranty. All WinBook will tell me is that the repair will not cost more than $495, and that they will not sell me the parts.
They should design replacement parts that will not fail again, and make it available at low cost with instructions, or repair this problem at a reasonable fixed rate, instead of sticking customers with their mistakes.
I do not recommend buying a WinBook. Why take the risk of dealing with someone who does not stand behind their products when there are so many choices.
Also, the battery will not hold a charge, and it is hard to turn it off an on.
