Pros: Great price, Clear sound, digital out, four speaker, easy to install.
Cons: takes up two slots on the back of the computer
The Bottom Line: The bottom line is that you can't get any other type of digital sound cards for this price and that the sound quality is uncomparable to others.

I have never had a better soundcard than the Montego II Plus. First of all, the price blew me away. I bought mine a year ago on onvia.com for about $50US compared to other soundcards with digital out for around $200. The main reason why I bought this was so I could hook up my Minidisc player to the computer via the digital out. The sound quality is just absolutely amazing. It is so clear that there is never any of that static noise. The card itself goes into a PCI slot and the digital is a separate mount that connects to the soundcard via a cable. Setup only takes a few minutes when inserted to the computer. If you buy this or have this soundcard, I truly recommend you to get a 5-piece speaker system like the Five-point Cambrige Soundworks system.
