I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better in the Grocery Category
http://www.epinions.com/srvc-Groceries
I personally think its fine here because these are "kids" cereals and you include some generic info. But just wanted to toss that out into the air.

Aaah, the memories. (Reply to this comment)

I thoroughly enjoyed that trip down memory lane with the cereals of my youth. Thanks for the good read. :) I had no idea you could still get them.

Great review - when I was a kid, I wanted sugar coated cereals SO badly - but my mum wouldn't get them for me - it was all corn flakes and other nominally healthy cereals.
Fast forward a few years- my 10 year old daughter spent the summer with my mum, and when I get there, what do I find in the cupboard? Trix. The joys of being a grandparent, I guess!
Cheers,
Kate

Always wanted these... (Reply to this comment)

when I was little, but I could never find them in the store. Luckily for me and my kids, our local Costco has been carrying them for the past month, so I finally got to try them after almost 24 years of waiting. Now if I could only find some Cookie Crisp.

That's the name, I had forgotten it - had a ware-wolf type of creature. I remember that being my favorite

Ralston, as in Purina.
I can't believe somebody actually took the time to compile this, but here's some additional background (which i found in my first GOOGLE search of Freakies Cereal -- you do use Google, don't you?).

Never heard of them - were they made by General Mills? I did a few searches and came up with nothing on the cereals - any more links?

I can't believe you didn't mention Freakies (1971)! Boss Moss, Cowmumble, Gargle, Goody Goody, Grumble, Hamhose and Snorkledorf -- all in one box.
These should jog your noggin:

Martha Shmartha... she can keep her cute crafts and over priced books.
I am hoping the 12 missing reviews surface sometime soon .. if not I will be forced to call Epinions and work my way through their voice mail hell.

I'm trying to think of a good Martha Stewart comment... :)
Hey, I'd rather spend Halloween at the Freak pad than with Martha Stewart any day, even if the cereals you just mentioned make me quiver (and not with fear).
And let me just say, I was scared for a moment when I saw this review was about cereal. I thought you were taking a break from your 31 Flavors Of Horror write-off, and I was about to be disappointed.
Perhaps the 12 reviews you're missing are sitting with three of mine. I'm sure you tried clicking "refresh," although that didn't bring mine back, but hey, I emailed them about it right after it happened, and it's only been a month or so, but I'm sure they'll get back to me. You know the customer service here is top-notch. Expected email: "we have eaten all of your current reviews. We apologize for any inconvenience."
Very inventive essay, darlin', and I hope to get an email out to you soon.

You really are a Freak! I like that in a person.
While we may not share the same taste in foods (I would rather cut out my tongue than grab a handful of Count Chocula) I sure do like your style!
Thanks for the informative review. Now I think I'll go brush my teeth.
