After failing to issue a credit for a return for OVER 2 MONTHS, they not only deducted "shipping costs" but charged me for an "incomplete" return. I purchased an espresso machine for my son for Christmas. He opened the box on the dining room table, took the machine out, immediately decided it was not what he wanted (did not fill or use the machine) and immediately packed it back up. Approximately 3 days later, after receiving the required "RMA" number, I physically returned the machine to the company, which happens to be located a few miles from my home. They failed to issue a credit for the return until MARCH 6 - well over 2 months later - despite their stated policy of credits taking @ 30 days (which is ridiculous in itself.) To add insult to injury, they charged me "shipping" (not free) and $12 for a piece (a "shot" something) they claimed was missing. I can state with absolute certainty that EVERYTHING in the box my son unpacked was in the box I returned. I watched it being opened, unpacked, and repacked; but there is of course absolutely no way I can prove it. And there is no way anyone could prove it. When I called the company to complain, I was told that this is their policy because people frequently lie about what they receive or what they return! (In other words, it often happens that their customers complain they didn't get all the equipment they should have or that they returned complete equipment and didn't get full credit!) I believe these people are crooks and that they routinely do this to a certain number of returns - just as they routinely keep people's money for months after a return. My advice is - DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
