Pros: Good bargain, really cheap, contains bleach, no phosphates, versatile, does the job, and rinses easily.
Cons: May need to do a spot test on some delicate surfaces.
The Bottom Line: Works great and it's Cheap! So why not?

| maybabe's Full Review: Ajax Cleanser with Bleach Easy Rinse Formula |
Ajax Cleanser with Bleach Easy Rinse Formula is a product that's been used and trusted for many years...
Ajax is a product by the Colgate-Palmolive Company. and claims you can clean garbage cans, grills, ceramic tiles, pots & pans, porcelain, bathroom fixtures, and more.
Not to be used on silver, painted surfaces, or fabrics.
My guess is this; Could dull your fine silver, remove paint from your wall, and leave unwanted bleach-spots on your clothing...
Always read the warning label, and use as directed to elliminate any un-necessary problems from using.
Ajax Cleanser has been improved to a scratch free formula, with added bleach for extra cleaning power.
Ajax Cleanser with Bleach Easy Rinse Formula comes in a blue/silver metallic cardboard container, with a bold red Ajax logo on front...(also recyclable)
The container has no snap on/off top, or screw on/off top; But a simple peel back paper-like tab, that reveals several holes for sprinkling out the powdered product.
As Ajax Cleanser has been improved; you'll notice the container has slightly changed in appearance. The last time I purchased; The canister was mostly blue/red; with not much silver.
I picked up a couple cans of Ajax Cleanser for only .59 for a 14 oz. size at Eckerd's yesterday. One of their weekly products I saw in the sales paper...
Ajax Cleanser is available in two sizes, the 14 oz. and a 21 oz. This product is easy to find at most grocery stores, Drugstores (CVS, Eckerds) and Dollar Stores.
Prices vary by sales and stores, which range from .50 to .99 cents. I have bought Ajax in the 14 oz. size 2/1.00 at our local Dollar store.
My uses for this cleanser are mainly kitchen and bathroom.
Kitchen sinks: I use the attached water sprayer and wet down inside of sink; Sprinkle a little Ajax. Using a teflon/plastic scrubber, and working the powder into a paste, then rinse clean. The cleanser does rinse well as it claims.
For stubborn sink stains; after working into a paste; I'll let this sit for five minutes than scrub again before rinsing. Works great at removing those stubborn stains.
My sink is not porcelain or stainless steel; but a type of tough formica/plastic pvc kind. I can't think of the exact word you call it, at the moment...But I do know I am choosy about the cleanser I use; because it's not scratch resistant...My sinks are all white...
I have found Ajax Cleanser with Bleach does a fabulous job helping to keep my sinks stain free.
Great for keeping the toilets clean and bright too. I just sprinkle some Ajax into the toilet bowl and scrub away, with the toilet brush. Removes the water ring deposit, and removes the crud under the rim as well.
I clean my toilets several times a week;(germ concious) Only takes a couple minutes with the Ajax Cleanser and helps to keep them sparkling clean, and cuts down on that harsh water ring, that we all hate.
Good product for cleaning the shower soap scum. I just wet down the shower, sprinkle on my scour sponge and with a little effort from the bows; the scum is loosened and rinsed away. Leaves no residue in the bottom of shower. Rinses clean every time...The shower shines.
Forgot to mention the metal fixtures; They always look shiny and new, with no scratches to be seen...and the smell of the Ajax does have a light bleach smell, that's not too over-powering and doesn't irritate my senses.
Some bottoms of a few old pots/pans; (I want part with)
Need a good cleaning, I turn them bottom up in the sink, wetting the surface and my scour sponge, and scrub with most effort needed here, and the results are good; Not like new, but a lot of improvement for the age...
Ajax Cleanser with Bleach Easy Rinse Formula is a product I'll keep using, because it's Cheap, versatile and does a great job. Why spend more for something else, when this covers it all.
