Thank you! Many of my friends are trying to get me to trade in my 450 Nighthawk on a bigger bike. I LOVE my 450. He's big enough to match highway speeds, strong enough to carry all my gear, light enough I can horse him around on the farm-country back roads, nimble enough to take any twistie, and gets 50 mpg. I've only rolled the throttle all the way open twice - once in really bad headwinds with a full load and once when I had a beautiful stretch of clear dry road and just had to find out what it would be like. He was still accellerating at 86, but the driver (ME!) decided that such speed was beyond this newbie's current skill level.
