After researching prices on-line and reading many consumer reviews, I decided to purchase a Konica-Minolta Dimage Z6 camera from Butterfly Photo. On-line ordering was very easy, prices were as advertised, and there were no hidden charges or fees. I received immediate notification via e-mail that my order was received, along with the details of my order. The following day, I received another e-mail requesting that I call Butterfly Photo to “confirm” my order. This was really the only annoyance with the entire buying experience. It seems that it is now common practice in the industry to use this “confirmation” call as an opportunity to sell additional accessories not placed with the original order. With that said, the call was relatively short and there were no hard-sell tactics used. Shortly after the call, I received a third e-mail informing me that the camera had been shipped and providing me with a FEDEX tracking number. The camera was delivered six days after the original order and was brand new, functioning, and supported by a US warranty. All in all, I give Butterfly Photo a high rating and would not hesitate to shop there again or recommend them to friends and associates.
