Don't lose hope, Pam. There are several options available, for financial aid, like loans, grants, and scholarships. If a person tries hard enough, they can succeed at winning the college financing battle, even with little or no resources.

Good Luck!

You know.. Every where i;ve ever gone, and every one i've ever spoken to has had nothing but trouble with getting financial aid. When I went to college, I was lucky. I had only a minimum amount of trouble. But there are many, many people who I knew who were climbing walls in frustration at the efforts it took to get every thing straight.

Could that be a symptom of government interference in education?

Bryan, You should be very proud. If I were your Mom, I'd be proud, too.

I'm predicting you'll go far! Lots of good luck.

This was a wonderful review,

I would put you on my web of trust twice if I could. I have been worried about college money for my son, his dad makes alot of money, but he is also a dead beat father. There will be no college help from him or anything else for that matter. I have been saving, but it would take a miracle to make up for all the savings that his dad took from him at the divorce.

God Bless You
