Some good points, some bad points (Reply to this comment)

Your review had some good points, but you would have been able to use all of the features and settings on the receiver if you had read the manual first. You say that a person should not have to read a TV or TV tuner manual. However, I don't know of anyone who has gotten a new TV or satellite receiver and not read the manual!

Additionally, your review on picture quality was inaccurate (when compared to the experience of most other users). It is possible that you had a bad connection, but your picture quality experience appears to be an exception, not a rule.

Finally, have you ever accidentally pressed buttons on your TV remote and tuned to a non-existent channel? The point of a remote IS to respond to buttons (since the remote can't distinguish between an accidental and intentional action), and just as with a TV remote, you may end up tuning in to a nonexistent channel.
