I don't know why I waited so long to try the Clorox Bleach Pen. I always keep stain removers on hand and this one is really neat. Anyway, I finally found myself the owner of one and I'm really impressed with the performance so far!

Clorox Bleach Pen

This is a nifty little gadget which is shaped like a huge bullet in my opinion. It is in a medium blue plastic container and the label is also blue with white and red lettering. The Clorox Bleach Pen weighs 2 oz. or I should say contains 2 oz. of the gel formula. The pen itself is a bit heavier due to the packaging.

Clorox Bleach Pen is designed to remove stains on whites only! It is not recommended for colored fabrics, fabrics containing wool, leather, spandex, silk, linen, or mohair. You can also use this on some household surfaces but it is advised that you test an area in an area that is not easily noticeable first. The label does warn to not use for a prolonged time on plastic laminate countertops and metal surfaces. It is also advised that this product not be used on silver. It can be used in the bathrooms on caulking around sinks and tubs. Some of the common stains it is effective on are grass stains, juices, berry stains, mold, and mildew.

The Clorox Bleach Pen is unique in the fact that it has two different ends to use. One end has a small round opening with a brush with plastic bristles for tough jobs and the other end has a small opening/tip for the gel to flow from for small stains. Each end has its own secure cap that has to be unscrewed to remove.

Clorox® Bleach Pen® Gel cleans with the power of bleach, but comes in a handy, pen-like tool. Its dual-tipped applicator has a fine point for precise jobs and a scrub brush for larger ones. Both ends provide excellent on-the-spot stain removal in your laundry, kitchen and bathroom.

Directions For Use

Shake the tube to mix formula well. Gently squeeze the tube to release a small amount of the gel formula. If treating laundry, you will want to rub the gel in. Wash fabric as soon as possible with other whites.

Do not unscrew both caps on each end at the same time! You will have a mess on your hands!

My Experience With Clorox Bleach Pen

This pen is totally awesome! It gets stains out throughly and you rarely need a repeat application.

My favorite use of the Clorox Bleach Pen is to clean up tennis shoes. You can make a white pair of tennis shoes look brand new in just a few minutes without washing. Sure, a pair of shoes needs washing every now and then but this is a quick fix for black marks or dirt on shoes that a good scrub will not remove.

I have also used the Clorox Bleach Pen on white shirts that have managed to get a mustard and/or ketchup stain and both have come out looking spotless. I couldn't even tell where the original stain was!

Clorox Bleach Pen does have an odor of bleach but it is not very strong. If you use it and put the cap back on immediately you should not suffer from any ill effects.

Do not mix this cleaner with any other cleaner. Chemical reactions can occur and cause an explosion.

Recommendation

This is a great little gadget to have on hand. You may think a separate product is not necessary to get stains out of whites, but it works really well. Also, if you want to take a few shortcuts on keeping white sneakers clean, this product is for you! I give Clorox Bleach Pen 5 Stars and regret not purchasing this product sooner!
