Transferring colleges can set you back a year or more, but it can help by eliminating bad grades and by improving your attitude and motivation.

thanks for the insight - i'm seriously considering transferring to another college in the very near future. your review was clear and concise, and of course, helpful.

That was a really good review. You seem to have covered all the major points of why one would want to transfer - except one. I had a friend in college who thought the classes were too easy and he was thinking about transferring to an Ivy League school. He ended up staying though, and he is now in the most selective PhD program for computer science in the country. So, if you are in college and you are in the same situation, there are benefits to not transferring!!!

Although I'm beyond college age, I like reading your reviews. I consider myself younger than my years, since I go out with my daughter and her friends occasionally. I will refer one of them to this informative review.

Thx, Bryan,
Bev :)

transfering is such a big hassle, I am a senior at a university but I transfered out of state like two years ago so now I have 151 credits but won't finish with my degree until winter of next year. One should really be careful and aware of what can happen I would have done things differently had I know.
