I just can't say enough about these foods. With the recent recalls, Flint River Ranch is still safe, tasty and affordable. They do not "shop around" for the lowest price on the ingredients they use, and they only use human grade ingredients. Yep...everything that goes into this food, is edible by you. I currently began fostering a dog for a local shelter, and he has been on Flint River Ranch Fish and Chips for about a week now, and I have noticed a considerable improvement in his skin and coat. His coat was dull, dry, and shed a lot, and his skin flakey when he first came here. After about a week on this particular food, his coat has become very shiny and healthy looking. His fur is also softer, and he has a lot less flaking and shedding of fur.

I bought my Flint River Ranch dog food from a distributor, but it is shipped direct from the Flint River Ranch warehouse.
The delivery was fast, I received it in a less than a week, and it came straight to my door! This is a plus, because it meant no lugging large bags of dog food in and out of shopping carts, car trunks, and up my steps. The prices from where I purchased mine included free delivery for orders over $9.00, so I couldn't lose. Who would pass up free, timely delivery of fresh, good nutrition for their pets?
There are many dog and cat food formulas to choose from, as well as different quantities to order, such as 20 lbs or 40 lbs, and I personally ordered the "Fish and Chips" dog food, which is a big hit with my American Staffordshire, my Shepherd mix, and my dad's labrador retriever. In fact, my dogs tasted it at my dad's, and then would turn their nose up at the Beneful I had them on. I figured it was worth it to switch to a food that was healthier, fresh, and tastier to my dogs.
You can also choose to have your account set up for automatic delivery, which means you automatically get charged and a shipment is sent out at the interval you select, such a monthly if that is your need. This is a great convenience, as you never have to worry about running out of food or having to make a last minute grocery store run because you realize you don't have enough for Fido the next morning!
They also have a line of treats, including cookies, that I have not yet purchased. I will probably purchase a bag on my next order to change up my dogs rewards.
The service is fast, friendly, and lots of information is provided on the dog food, such as nutritional content, how much to feed based on dog's weight, how much less you need to feed of Flint River Ranch foods as opposed to the lower quality supermarket carried brands, and the fact that you will see a decrease in the amount of waste you must clean up from your yard.
I have noticed that both dogs have a nice shiny coat, great muscle tone, maintained healthy weight, and I do have considerably less waste to scoop from the yard.
I think this is a great place to purchase food for your pet, and I highly recommend their services for any dog or cat owner. With the quality ingredients, lack of artificial colorings and sugar, this is great even for finicky, or sensitive eaters.
The prices may seem higher when compared to the brands carried at your super market, but when you add in the free delivery, convenience of door front drop off, higher quality ingredients for less feed needed and less waste to clean up, it is well worth the change!
