Touching story, and very nicely presented.
It is amazing how doctors have a hard time accepting conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia as real diseases. A lot of that has to do with the fact that we don't know much about what causes these diseases. With CFS, Ebstein-Barr viral infection (which causes mononucleosis) has been implicated. And, as the current craze in medicine, blame genetics when you can't find another source.

I'm so sorry you have this disease. You have taught all of us to be more understanding of people who suffer from this.
Good luck. I hope scientists find a cure or at least better drugs to manage it.
You sound like you are coping well. You have a lot of inner strength.

I want to thank you all for your sweet comments.
I try to keep a positive outlook on everything especially when it comes to my health. Two weeks ago I was attacked on my mental abilities and then this past week I was reminded of why I hate most doctors(the eye rolling thing when you say the words Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). I just thought people could use the knowledge that this is a real disease and there is a way to live with it!
