Im quite sure that there arent that many people that love to do laundry. I dont mind it and I would rather do it than clean the bathroom, but I would also rather be doing something else instead. After that thought, my main concern is purchasing laundry products that do what they are supposed to and leave me with an easy chore. For as far back as I can remember, Tide has always been in our household. Sure, we have experimented with other detergents and even liked a few and use them from time to time, but there is always a bottle of Tide on the shelf in the laundry room no matter what.
Tide Mountain Spring comes in an orange bottle with green a screw-off cap that also acts as a measuring cup for the liquid. The cup has 2 lines inside, line one for medium loads and line 2 for large loads. The plastic bottle is recyclable and always goes out into the bin when empty. We usually purchase the 100 fl oz bottle that states it gives about 32 uses. But there are larger sizes available that Ill pick up when they go on sale.
Tide is great because it can also be used as a pre-treater for clothing before washing. Stains beware! You just pour it right on the stain and allow it to soak in before washing the clothing as normal. When washing, all I need to use is less than a cap full to get my clothing clean. My clothing doesnt get heavily soiled but if you have children, you may need to use a little more. I simply put the detergent in the washer and the setting on low, then allow it to mix up before turning to the high setting an allowing the tub to finish loading with water. Then I toss the clothing in.
When using Tide Mountain Spring, I always sort my clothing. I cannot say how it works if you mix your laundry. But when it comes to my clothing, I always get fresh smelling and non-stained fabrics thanks to how well this product works. There are many different varieties and scents that are now offered by Tide that werent available when I was growing up. We tend to use Tide Mountain Spring and Tide with Febreze more than any other scents simply because I like how my clothing smells afterwards. Its not a harsh detergent and I always feel safe using it in my delicate loads.
Tide Mountain Spring comes in a few different sizes: 50, 80, 100, 150, 200 and the large 300 oz. size. You can purchase Tide anywhere that sells laundry detergent. I usually pick my bottle up on a weekly visit to Target or whenever it goes on sale at my grocery store or drugstore. If I catch the smaller bottle on sale for less than $5 I always grab a few of them because it rarely happens around here. I have even gotten some free samples and coupons from their website, so go check it out if youre so inclined.
Tide Mountain Spring should be treated like any chemical, thus keeping it out of reach of children and being careful around the eye and mouth areas. This particular detergent bottle states that it is safe for septic tanks. I, myself, have never had any problems with this detergent reacting badly with my clothing or my skin after I wash my clothing.
Overall, Tide is definitely a good detergent and one that I trust above all others. I recommend it as a good detergent that leaves your clothing fresh and without stains.
