I am notorious for wearing black and using bleach. I just seem to gravitate towards that bleach bottle everytime I have black on and, of course, I ruin whatever it is I'm wearing because when I use that big old bottle of bleach I splash or drip and lean. It's just something I'm known for.

Well, someone in the Domestic Goddess division of heaven must have taken pity on me because they sent down the CLOROX BLEACH PEN. It's a miracle! I can work on stains in a controlled fashion. It's a pen, not a bottle. It's a gel not liquid and it doesn't drip or splash.

This wonder product costs around $3.00 (in Walmart, a little more in your local grocery store $3.97). Net wt is 2.0 fl oz. It's a 6" blue plastic container in a pen like shape with dual tips. It has a thinner tip at the top for accurate spot touch ups and a broader one on the bottom for grout or larger areas. Warning on package: Only open one end at a time. As it says on the package you can bleach what you want and nothing more. Life is good.

You apply it to the white portion of your stained garment. Gently rub with the tip and wash immediately.

For household use you apply it to the stain, let stand for 1-3 minutes for tough stains, rub and rinse or wipe clean. It's wonderful for those grundgy areas around a sink or bathtub. I have an enormous amount of tile floor and though I certainly can't do the entire place it works well on grout and I use it for areas of my grout that have gotten stained more noticeably.

It's perfect for wine, grass, tea, berry, mold and mildew. I've used it for mystery stains with great success.

It's also very portable and packable.

If you have a teen or you have a crafty, artistic leaning its wonderful for creating designs on denim or any dark fabric. You "draw" with the tip, wide or narrow and then wash. Your design is in the bleached drawn areas.

You have to shake it before using it, unscrew (do not try to yank off) the tip/cap and gently squeeze (keep in mind gentle).You don't want a splooge of gel.

There are a few warnings. Do not use on dry clean only clothing. Avoid contact with eyes. Wear gloves if you have sensitive skin and drink a glassfull of water if you swallow this. Do not induce vomiting. Call poison control or a physician.Keep away from children.
