A couple of months a go my wife and I decided we needed to get a small safe for our important papers, documents and valuables. After shopping around we found a decent deal on a Fire Safe / Personal Safe - Sentry Safe . Its just heavy enough to be too heavy for someone to run off with. Ours is a combination safe that requires a key as well. The door is very heavy duty and is secured by two solid steel bolts. Id hate to have to try and break into the thing. its also small enough that it could be hid in a false wall if you so desired. This safe is fire proof and comes with a guarantee and a warranty. If you lose your belongings in a fire you can claim up to $10,000.00 on losses. The bigger the safe, the higher Sentry Safe will reimburse you for items lost in a fire. The Sentry Safes are fire proof. Short of a war in the United States or nuclear attacks, your safe is under warranty. You can also bolt the safe to the floor which is a good option.

Conclusion
I like the Sentry safe but the combination can be a bear for some people. I have a hard time with it. My wife can get it on the first try. But then again I am not the sharpest tool in the shed. If I had it to do over again, I would have paid a bit more and purchased the digital safe. All in all we are happy with the safe. Its great for pink slips, wills, business papers, and other important documents. You can also lock up your valuable jewelry or other small valuables if you so desire. I like the sliding trays. This allows you to change the size if the spaces inside the safe. I also like the fact that you need a key in concert with the combination to open this safe. So even if someone managed to rummage through your house and find the combination, they wouldnt have the key. In addition it weighs 87 LBS. that's fairly heavy. Although a strong man could get it.
Once my dad stopped to help an older gentleman who was trying to load a refrigerator. He was having a difficult time. My dad stopped and helped him get the fridge into the pick up. Later that night we heard that a local home had been robbed. Dad helped the robber load his truck. Now he refuses to help most anyone. So I hope my neighbors call the law instead of helping someone load up my small safe.
I am happy with this safe and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small safe to keep their paper work in. I would get a much larger safe for keeping any cash on hand. This safe can be packed off with some work. If your house burned down, youd have the contents of this small Sentry Safe left. Unfortunately house fires happen every day.
