Before you sign up for Netflix read the terms of use carefully. When you start you will get new releases quickly and your turnaround will be fast. If you start to send back the movies too quickly they will just slow down sending your next movie. the longer you are a member the longer you will have to wait for new releases. They advertise "unlimited rentals" but if you read their NEW (post class action suit) terms of use they don't really guarantee unlimited rentals. They have a limit but they won't tell you what it is.

Be prepared to buy a dvd cleaner and clean each dvd before you put it in the player. They never clean the discs. Almost every dvd will fail if you do not clean it. About 10 percent of the dvd's are scratched and will not play.
And if you ever return your own personal dvd by mistake they will keep it and refuse to return it and keep sending you the same form letter over and over and over claiming that they have looked but just can't find it. I suspect they add to their inventory and dvd's for sale by stealing customer's dvd's. They are not an honest company. There have been a few class action suits against them all of which, I believe, they have lost.
