I now own both a 1 GB Zen Nano Plus and a 512 MB MuVo Tx. I wish I had seen the difference between the two before I opened the package.
Really they are the same concept; A flash drive with a housing for the battery and mp3 player software. The major difference, and the reason I wish I could return the higher capacity Zen Nano, is the Zen Nano requires a usb cable.
The portability of the removable usb fob in the MuVo Tx is worth the comparable loss of capacity.
So, why did I buy a new MP3 player anyway? I dropped my MuVo TX on concrete. It no longer plays. Although the USB stick still works fine. Another 512 stick in my bag is great but I'd rather have the MuVo Tx.
UPDATE:
After using the Zen Nano for a week I can even more strongly recommend the MuVo Tx. The Zen Nano has a habit of turning off when scrolling through items on the drive. Also that scroll button just feels cheap. I bet I'll be buying a MuVo Tx when this Zen Nano breaks in a few short months.
