Pros: fast responses - almost immediate e-mail responses;
smooth process; patient representatives
Cons: none that I can think of!!
The Bottom Line: I recommend Quicken Loans. We were impressed with the customer service and deal they structured for us.

We had a wonderful experience with Quicken Loans! My husband and I have been living in our home for one year and have two mortgages on the house (to avoid the PMI). The first mortgage is fixed at a great rate, but the second, smaller home equity line of credit was adjustable - and quickly moved it's way up to over 10% interest. We had to get out of that loan. Being the savvy mortgage person she is, my mother actually called lender after lender trying to put together the best deal for us. She and I both spoke with Megan at Quicken, but didn't take the deal. A couple of weeks later, Megan phoned back to check on our status and recommend another option for us. Still we didn't take the deal. Megan never forgot about us and wanted to see us in the best situation possible. After narrowing our choices down to two possibilities (the Quicken deal and another), Megan spent a great amount of time speaking with us on the phone and emailing us information as to why Quicken's plan was better than the other deal we were considering - all the while being as sweet as can be - not pushy. Once we finally made the decision to go with the Quicken deal, our monthly payment was lowered and FIXED! We ended up getting $1300 back from the deal. Even Miranda, the rep that closed the deal for us, was an absolute sweetheart. My mother deals with MANY mortgage brokers (her line of work), and that was her one recurring message - how sweet everyone at Quicken was. As I said, once we finally made our decision, the process was as smooth as could be. I am recommending everyone use them.
