Pros: Clean and fun game program that runs on every Windows platform.
Cons: Silly sounds (I turned them off).
The Bottom Line: If you want a hassle free and good-looking Solitaire, this is it.

I picked up Interplays Solitaire for Windows in a Miamis airport shop in 1994. At that time I was running Windows 3.0. It worked, and I am an addict of it ever since.
It has survived many crashes, computer burn-outs due to lightning, moves, and other detrimental stuff. It has run flawlessly ever since on whatever platform I throw it at.
Better designed than most of the other Solitaire games, cleaner (tweakable) boards and decks, it has so many options that one never gets tired of it.
Interplays Solitaire for Windows is running about 80% of my computer time. Especially when:
Waiting for some long defrag on one drive? Solitaire off the other.
Waiting for an endless page/program/music to download? Solitaire.
Waiting for a 74 page printout? Solitaire.
Nothing specific to do? Solitaire.
The Game(s):
Like I said, it is the 㥦 edition, and it includes the following variants:
Beleaguered Castle
Calculation
Forty Thieves
Four Corners
Golf
Klondike
La Nivernaise
Poker Solitaire
Pyramid
Scorpion
Spider
Three Shuffles and a Draw
Most of the games have an Auto Finish option, which lets me finish a game quickly whenever I see that it is only cleaning up after having played it successfully.
The Tour option lets me combine any of the above games to an (almost) endless session.
It does NOT eat up memory, runs clean, never crashes, and it is fun!!!
Recommendable in every way, even for the 1994 edition!
