I decided to go out on a limb and purchase Febreze Air Effects at Wal-Mart for $2.50 for a 9.7 oz. can. I had wondered how well it worked, and since Wally world was running a sale, I figured I might as well try it.
The particular scent I purchased was Summer and Splash, where the can has a picture of watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew melon on the front. There are other scents available (more on that later). The bottle to this product is really cool, in that the sprayer is a trigger rather than one of those push down models like Glade and other air fresheners have.
But, I worried that this air freshener would be like Glade in that you smell whatever stinks + whatever Glade scent you spray. That’s why I quit buying Glade, I never could get the smell out. But, with this product, it removed the odor, plus left a refreshing scent. The particular scent reminds me of fresh air, not necessarily fruit. I don’t find it overpowering at all, and it gets rid of odor, while leaving a fresh scent for a few hours.
Directions
Hold trigger down and spray the air in a sweeping motion throughout the room. For a noticeably fresh home, spray all the rooms in your home.
Warnings and such
Do not spray this toward your face- and if eye contact occurs, flush eyes with water. If irritation persists, then seek medical attention. Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed- intentional misuse of this product can cause harm or be fatal.
As for the can, dispose of properly, it is aluminum, and can be recycled. Do not puncture of incinerate this can.

Man, was I impressed with this spray! First of all, it sprays a really fine mist that does not just go out of the can and fall back down. I was worried with such a small can that I would use it all in 2 days, but a really small amount does the job well. If you use too much, the scent might be a little too overpowering. Also, it really gets rid of the odor! I have problems in the summer with our den being rather stale smelling. This really helps. I also like the trigger spray also- with Glade and Lysol, I tend to get my finger wet while I push down on the button.
Highly recommended- there are coupons out there every once in a while, and sometimes you can catch them on sale!
