Warranty (Reply to this comment)
by becky2259, in Home and Garden
I called the company out of curiosity and they have a 1 yr warranty. The 30day warranty is a no questions asked return policy. So in other words if you got it and used it for 30 days or less and just decided you did not want it you could return it for a refund. The product though is warrantied for one year so please call them to get your issue resolved.

wow that is a shame. I would call the company anyway since it is so new. I have had mine for 2 1/2 yrs I think and have never even had to change the battery. My brother, Dad and sister have one too and no problems. Maybe you got a lemon. I bet if you call they will send you a new top to get yours working. good luck

Product Flaws (Reply to this comment)

I could live with the thing opening everytime someone walked by, but today (after about a month & a half of use, and the warranty is only 30 days), the lid just won't automatically close anymore. If I push it closed, it'll stay closed, but the next time it's activated, it'll remain open again. 'Tried all the obvious things to try & "reset" the thing. Good concept, but a junk implementation.

this is fabulous. I never heard of such a thing. Eventually they'll make one that you need only to speak to. ha.
I think it would help your review, though, if you'd tell us what size this is and what size bags it uses. I wondered about that.
Thanks, and keep writing in Home & Garden! I hope you're enjoying being a member of Epinions!
