Pros: Delivers what it says it can do.
Cons: Does not work on burnt areas very well.
The Bottom Line: I will continue to use this cleaner but I am going to try some other types of cleaners of the same brand.

| roseofuno's Full Review: Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner |
I have just moved into a new home. The kitchen has a new glass top stove. A beautiful appliance but my first worry was how do I keep it clean. I went to my nearest Home Depot. Cerama Bryte was recommended. I took it home and use it for the first time and what a difference. The stove top shined. It did not look dull or dirty any more. I clean the stove top at least once a week and have had no complaints about this product. And one of the best things is you don't need much of the product to clean the stove top.
Update June 3, 2006. Well we have been here in this house for over a year now. The cleaner has worked well but you need to get anything off of the stove top before it dries or before you cook anything else. If a pot over flows you need to clean it up asap, don't wait. If anything gets burned on or dried you have several hours of work ahead of you.
I have been working on getting a resent spill off and the cleaner can only do so much. I read somewhere the gentle scraping it off with a blade may work but it did not for me. I have been applying the cleaner and putting some real elbow grease to the top. The burnt area seems to be getting cleaner but it is going to take more cleaning. I have also found that a damp sponge can also do the same for the burnt on areas. So the cleaner is not necessary but it does give the top a really nice shine.
