Looking for a new motherboard for an Athlon system? The A7V will not disappoint. You got a rock solid board from a great, reputable company that's loaded with features. Take a look: KT133 chipset, 5 PCI, 1 AGP, 2 IDE channels, 1 parallel, 2 serial, and 2 USB all wrapped up in this ATX board.
But there's more - monitor voltage, fans, etc. Wake on LAN and ATA100 support also. Plus tons of features available in the BIOS for all you tweakers.
The board supports socket A processors up to 1ghz, and complement that with PC100, PC133, or VC133 RAM, up to 1.5gb of it.
One nice features is overclockability - you can overclock your Athlon/Duron easily. You can change the voltage, up the clock speed, and the board is more stable when overclocked than most others. Of course, if you're not sure what you're doing, don't risk overclocking - you can fry your CPU.
The board is just overall a great board. It's fast, stable, and gives you near full control.
