I do not know about you, if what you wrote was indeed true to your experience or simply fancied due to your utmost hate for Microsoft, but I found your review of IE6 extremely offensive and somewhat, intriguing. I also have a T1 connection, basically translates to being online 24/7. And none of those "bugs" ever happened to me. The system I use runs on Windows XP, and Microsoft's integration of their browser to the OS is very rewarding, for example, now I feel more secure browsing online with IE's top-notch privacy management system, the image autoresize feature works very well to see images overly large not fit the browser screen. Perhaps you were judging IE6 on the surface, and you were looking for "eye-candy" found NS. True, Netscape's interface is more "friendly" and "intuitive" than IE's, but that's because Internet Explorer's improvements are on the background, to keep you secure. And I find that improved security is much, much better than just mere candy interface. The system I use runs as a backup web server, meaning it is always on for months, continuously. And it has never crashed on me. Not even the Opera browser. On the contrary, it your Netscape that often crashes, and it serves webpages slower than IE, even with images off. I am very sorry for the experience you had with IE6 on your system, if it indeed really took place. Your review sounds like a bit of an exaggeration, but it may happen, if you have been messing with your Windows, since Internet Explorer and the Windows OS is tightly integrated, believe me, I am a programmer, so I know this stuff. Whatever happened, high chance that it's the fault of your system configuration. It runs fine on mine (Excellent really), and in hundreds of people I know at work.
