Hi Jackie! Thanks for leaving the comment. It would be wonderful if my new refrigerator lasted as long as your old one ... but I'm not holding my breath. :)

Enjoy a wonderful day,

refrigerator! We also have a GE bottom-freezer refrigerator, but ours is over (embarrassed to say) 45 years old!! We bought it when it was ALREADY old, eons ago when we were first married.I've been ready for a new one for a long time, but this thing just KEEPS on going, ha!

I love having a bottom freezer but the unit has limited refrigerator/shelving space and I drool over all the nice features available now-a-days... SOMEday maybe we'll be able to literally pry it out of its space and replace it with a newer one. Sure won't be able to enjoy the same life expectancy from a new one, though! :)

Enjoyed your review!

Hi! The way I looked at it ... I'm in the refrigerator more than the freezer. And I was bending more to get into the refrigerator. Plus that top-freezer handle was adding too many dents to our heads! LOL

Good luck shopping!

for a new fridge..I would love a bottom freezer but my mom thinks it will hurt her back to keep bending down into the freezer. :(

Hi Gael ... you're welcome! Just about every day I thank myself for purchasing a refrigerator with a bottom freezer. :) Boy does it make a difference.

Take care,
Dawn

....keeping my eye out for a bottom freezer. Being tall, it's tiring to keep bending down constantly looking for items in our top freezer/bottom refrigerator. Will have to keep this model in mind! Thanks Dawn.
