The first time I heard of SSX was on a TV commercial and I was immediately sold.

I was big on Tony Hawk for the PC so this game couldn't have had better timing for me. The graphics looked solid and the game just looked fun.

The learning curve was small although it took a while for me to really get the fluid movements down. The levels are graphically impressive (especially Japan). There are secrets everywhere and the gameplay is very fast.

Overall I give this game a 15 on a 1-20 scale. There could have been more levels and more variety besides tricks and racing. A free session with no objectives or tricks to complete would have been nice.
