An interesting comparison of old HP printers.
Too bad the original classic Series II wasn't included.
Yes they are old workhorses, but new printers are really a lot better. New printers conserve energy by turning off when not in use, and they print a whole lot faster. The old Series II would print straight text fast enough, but send it an Excel spreadsheet and you might as well leave the house for a few hours.

I agree with you that HP has been the most reliable maker of laser printers for many years. I think you did a great job of showing how they have continued to build on success. The newer models have proven they really learned as they go a long. Keep up the nice work and I look forward to reading more of your reviews.
